The full impact and implications of this brutal practice transcends time and affects every American, regardless to race, gender, ethnic background. Before we can move forward with reconciliation, healing and ministry to all, we must understand, acknowledge and accept the reality of the vestiges of our history.
Dr. Andre Branch, the Past President of the San Diego Chapter of the NAACP, is a Professor at San Diego State University. He has been a guest speaker at St. Paul's UMC multiple times and continues to deliver potent messages.
