Help us feed hungry children in our community!
This school year, our church is able to provide funds for ten more backpacks full of food each week for hungry school children in San Diego, thanks to funds raised while our church members were out shopping. We invite you to enroll to participate in two easy programs that let you make contributions to local missions while you're doing your regular shopping.
Ralphs Rewards Program
Then, use your Ralphs Reward card at Ralphs grocery store to save money and to earn a donation to the church. (If you have in the church's program before, you need to re-register annually, as of September 1.)
To register or renew your Ralphs Reward Card:
- Go to www.ralphs.com
- Click on "Welcome! Sign In/Register" and sign in or sign up.
- On the "My Ralphs" page under "Community Rewards Information" click on "Edit Community Contribution Program Information"
- Then, enter your Ralphs Rewards Card number and be sure to enter "First United Methodist Church of SD," our number is 82033.
EScrip.com
Lets you make donations just by using your credit card at locations including Vons, area restaurants and other places.
To enroll at EScrip:
- Go to www.escrip.com
- Select First United Methodist Church San Diego as a beneficiary.
When you use the creditcard you registered at participating local merchants, we get a donation.
A percentage of online purchases at many sites, including favorites like Amazon, Nordstroms, REI, and Walmart.
To earn donations by shopping online, you can either click through the escrip.com website to the Online Mall or download their AutoEARN plug-in for your internet browser. Once AutoEARN is installed, you'll see a button in your browser whenever you're on the website of a participating merchant. By clicking it, you earn donations from your purchases.
Annual Alternative Christmas Gift Fair!
Join us in Linder Hall on the first two Sundays in December or do your alternative shopping online!
Our annual fair gives you a better alternative to Christmas shopping. We invite you to "purchase" symbolic gifts which will fund local and global mission work. We will give you a gift card to give your loved one, and the price of what you would have spent on more stuff will enable amazing things to happen for others.
